Trusted Small Business Marketing Consultant
In the winter of 2022, I found myself back in the world of website creation. Partly out of curiosity but mostly out of necessity.
My partner and I were starting a business, Adventure Fishing Tours. In order to get funding, we were encouraged to have a fully functional website. I hadn't built a site in 10 years, and we had very little start-up capital.
Our first website was built in 2022 using Wix. Functional, but limited. I gave our website a facelift when I rebuilt it on ShowIt this year.
my story
june 2024
I was approached by a friend about helping run Google Ads for their business. After a quick look at their site, I knew that before they spent money on ads, they needed a website refresh. Ads are only as good as the website. If the website isn't approachable and easy to navigate, money spent on ads is wasted.
I asked my friend if they'd be my design guinea pig. I offered to rebuild their site at a fraction of the cost, so I could learn a wonderful new website design tool called ShowIt. I was also learning how to use different AI tools, which I discuss further on my AI Imagery page.

A couple of months later, the new Juneau Charters webpage was launched! And I was hooked on ShowIt. Six months later, we launched the new Adventure Fishing Tours website. In 2025, I built another five websites and helped coach others to design and build their own site on ShowIt.
Now I'm recording what I know and releasing it to the masses! I want to build a community of creative and motivated entrepreneurs. I love coaching creatively inclined individuals who want to have ownership over their website. But if you need a full-service designer, I'm here for it!
